What an honour it was to take part in The Big Swim this year! We joined 500 women on Brighton seafront to get in the sea together - a symbol of solidarity for International Women's Day and to show our support for Surfers Against Sewage.

As we're sure you know, the beauty industry is one of the biggest contributors to ocean pollution. Just think about all the plastic bottles, the silicone based ingredients and other man made chemicals going down the sink, into the ocean and to the precious sea life that call it home.

We're on a mission to get brands to think outside the sink! It's all about having a little bit more consciousness when it comes to making choices for what you create in the world. What better way to show our support than at such an iconic event.

I promise, it wasn't actually as cold as it looked. We even went in for round 2!

It was live painted by our favourite Brighton based artist Debbie Lawrence.

Look at these amazing ladies she created for the event!

A brilliant day, totally 'Brighton' and an amazing way to show support for two VERY important causes. Who's joining us next year?
