Brightonians Come Compost On Us!

Did you know that with every purchase of our rescued food skincare, 1% of sales goes directly to help fight food waste in our local community?!

When we launched My Skin Feels, we knew we wanted to partner with charity that was dear to our hearts and one that we could actually get stuck in with and help in whatever way we can. Enter the Brighton & Hove Food Partnership.

The BHFP (for short) is a local charity that helps people learn to cook, access a healthy diet, grow their own food and of course, waste less. A Brighton skincare brand partnering with a Brighton charity - what could be better than that!

Last year we raised enough money to build our very own composting site in collaboration with the BHFP and what's even better is that it's situated right in the heart of town at Florence Rd Market. An amazing farmers market and one that we often pop up at on weekends to sell our juicy skincare.

So last summer we set out on a mission (with a little help from Good Gym) to turn this derelict corner from rubble... 👇

We're proud to say that our composting site is officially open to the public so you can get composting, fight food waste and make new friends too.
